Box 4848, Ajman, United Arab Emirates Features ## Ten things it does inside WhatsApp Web Each one appears in the bar under the message box. Nothing is hidden behind a paywall, and nothing is sent for you. - ### Voice messages, transcribed A two-minute voice note becomes text you can read in six seconds, in the chat, without playing it. Works in the meeting, on the train and in the quiet carriage. How voice to text works - ### Reply suggestions Reads the recent conversation and drafts a reply that fits it, in the language the chat is already in. One click puts it in the message box. You edit and send. - ### Replies that know your business Add your hours, prices and policies, or import a menu or price list from Excel. Suggested replies answer from them, and say you will check when they do not know. Business Facts - ### Messages translated Read a message in your own language, in Latin letters, or both, in twelve languages. When Chrome has the language, it happens on your computer and the message never leaves the page. How translation works - ### Chat and voice-note summaries Come back to 90 unread messages and get the four things that actually happened, plus anything addressed to you. - ### Dictation Hold the mic and talk. Your words land in the message box as text. Useful when typing is the slow part, and when your hands are busy. - ### Draft improvement Type it badly, then fix it. Reply Wizard rewrites what is already in your message box: shorter, warmer, more formal, or in another language. - ### Reminders and templates Set a reminder to come back to a chat, and save the replies you type twenty times a week. The reminder opens the chat. It never sends anything on its own. - ### Privacy blur On a call or sharing your screen? Blur the chat list, the messages, or both, with one click on the eye icon. - ### Private by construction No chat history stored on our servers, no account needed with your own key, and no message leaves your browser unless you ask for a suggestion. On-device Whisper and Chrome's built-in AI make no network call at all. Getting started ## Three steps, about two minutes - ### Install from the Chrome Web Store One click. No account, no email address, no card. Open web.whatsapp.com and the bar is there. - ### Choose how the AI runs Paste an API key you already have and pay nothing to us, ever. Or run a model on your own machine with LM Studio. Or subscribe and skip all of it. - ### Use it in the chat Transcribe the voice note, summarise the thread, suggest the reply. Read what came back, change what you want, send it yourself. Pricing ## Free forever with your own key. Paid if you would rather not have one. A subscription replaces your API key with one we manage and pay for. That is the whole difference. No feature is locked behind it. Monthly Yearly Save 17% ### Free Bring your own API key, or run a model locally. $0forever You pay your AI provider directly, if anything. Add to Chrome - Every feature, with no limit from us - 13 AI providers, or your own local model - On-device Whisper transcription Most popular ### Pro For everyday use, without managing a key. $5.99/month Billed monthly. Email us - Custom token limits - Dedicated support and an SLA - Feature development against your workflow Prices are in US dollars and include any sales tax or VAT due in your country, so the amount shown here is the amount you pay. Your receipt may itemise the tax separately, which is why the line item can read less than the total. A paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial, which includes 200,000 tokens on any plan; your plan's full monthly allowance starts when the subscription begins. A plan can be cancelled at any time from your billing portal, which is linked inside the extension. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. See the refund policy. Questions ## Frequently asked questions **Q. Which chat platforms does Reply Wizard support?** Reply Wizard works on WhatsApp Web only, at web.whatsapp.com, in Google Chrome and other Chromium browsers. It does not work on the WhatsApp mobile app, the WhatsApp desktop app, Telegram, Slack, Messenger or Discord. Support for a second platform is something we are looking at, and we will say so here when it exists rather than before. **Q. Does Reply Wizard send messages for me?** No, and it cannot. Every suggestion, transcription, summary and rewrite is placed in the WhatsApp message box for you to read and edit. Pressing send is always your action. Reminders open a chat; they never send anything. **Q. Is my data private?** We do not store your chat history on our servers and we never see your messages unless you ask for something. When you request a suggestion, only the few recent messages needed for that request are sent to the AI provider you chose, and the reply comes straight back to your browser. If you use the on-device options, Whisper for transcription or Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano for text, nothing leaves your computer at all. Your API keys are stored encrypted in your own browser and are never transmitted to us. **Q. Do I need to provide my own API key?** Only if you want the free version. Reply Wizard is free forever when you bring a key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Mistral, OpenRouter or one of the other supported providers, or when you run a model locally with LM Studio. A Pro or Power subscription exists so you do not have to: it gives you a managed key that we pay for, and there is nothing to configure. **Q. How many tokens do I actually need?** Pro includes 2.5 million tokens a month, which is roughly 2,500 reply suggestions. Most people send fewer than 1,200 WhatsApp messages in a month, so Pro is comfortable for everyday use. Power includes 10 million tokens for people running summaries and long threads all day. If a month needs more, a Pro or Power subscriber can add 2,000,000 tokens, about 2,000 replies, for $4.99 from the Plan tab in the extension. It is a one-off payment, not a subscription change; the tokens carry over from month to month while the plan is active and are used after the monthly allowance. The 7-day free trial is capped at 200,000 tokens, whichever plan you are trialling. Your plan's full monthly allowance starts when the subscription begins. How far any allowance goes depends on how much chat history each request carries. A short reply in a short thread costs a fraction of a summary of a long one, so the figures above are a guide rather than a promise. **Q. What does a subscription cost, and how is it delivered?** Pro is $5.99 a month or $59.99 a year. Power is $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year. Studio is $14.99 a month or $149.99 a year. All three start with a 7-day free trial. Your key is handed to the extension as soon as the payment goes through, and the page shows it on screen to copy if the handover does not work. **Q. How do I cancel, and can I get a refund?** Cancel at any time from the billing portal linked inside the extension, under Plan and Billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Our refund policy sets out when a refund is available and how to ask for one. **Q. Is Reply Wizard made by WhatsApp or Meta?** No. Reply Wizard is an independent product built by Palworks FZE LLC, a software business in the United Arab Emirates. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. **Q. Can Reply Wizard transcribe WhatsApp voice messages?** Yes. Click Read transcription on any incoming voice note in WhatsApp Web and the words appear under it, in a few seconds. It detects the language itself, handles code-mixed speech such as Hinglish and Tanglish, and can run entirely on your computer with on-device Whisper, free and with nothing uploaded. **Q. Can it translate WhatsApp messages?** Yes. Click Read translation under a message in another language to read it in your own language, in Latin letters, or both, in twelve languages including Hindi, Tamil, Arabic and Spanish. It can also translate your reply into the language the other person is writing in. **Q. Is there a free plan with no API key?** Yes. Chrome's built-in AI and on-device Whisper need no key and no account. There is also a free Reply Wizard plan: about 10 replies with nothing to set up, and about 30 a month once you add an email address. ## There is a voice note waiting for you right now Install it, open WhatsApp Web, and read that one instead of playing it. Written to be read by a person and quoted by a machine. Last reviewed 4 September 2026 · Reply Wizard 3.6.6 · Palworks FZE LLC ## What Reply Wizard is Reply Wizard is a Google Chrome extension (Manifest V3) that adds AI features to WhatsApp Web at web.whatsapp.com. It transcribes incoming voice messages, suggests replies drawn from the recent conversation, summarises long chats and long voice notes, types by microphone dictation and rewrites a draft you have already written. It never sends a message on your behalf: every result is placed in the WhatsApp message box for you to read, edit and send yourself. It is made by Palworks FZE LLC, a software company in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms, Inc. Reply Wizard is free with no account and no sign-up when you supply your own AI provider API key or run a model on your own machine. Paid plans, at $5.99 or $9.99 per month, exist only so that you do not have to hold a key: they replace the key, not the features. ## How an extension reads a WhatsApp chat Reply Wizard reads a WhatsApp chat the same way your eyes do: from the page. It runs a content script inside the web.whatsapp.com tab and reads the message text that WhatsApp has already drawn on screen. There is no WhatsApp API involved, no login is shared with anyone, and no unofficial client connects to WhatsApp's servers on your behalf. A content script is a standard browser-extension mechanism: a small file the browser injects into a page you are already viewing, which can then read and change that page. Chrome documents it as files that run in the context of web pages. It is the same mechanism a password manager uses to fill a login form, or an ad blocker uses to hide an advert. Because Reply Wizard works from the rendered page, three things follow, and they are the whole shape of the product: - It only knows what is on screen. A chat you have not opened is a chat it has not read. WhatsApp does not hand it your archive, because WhatsApp is not handing it anything. - It cannot log in as you. Your WhatsApp session belongs to WhatsApp Web. Reply Wizard has no credentials, no session token and no way to reach WhatsApp's servers. - It cannot press send. Text goes into the message box. Sending it is a thing your hand does. Source: Chrome for Developers, Content scripts. ## What it can see, and what it actually looks at Any Chrome extension granted access to web.whatsapp.com is technically capable of reading everything that page displays. That is true of Reply Wizard and of every other extension of this kind, and an honest answer has to start there. What separates them is what the extension does with that capability. Reply Wizard reads the recent messages of the one chat you have open, at the moment you press a button, and nothing else. Specifically: - Opening a chat sends nothing anywhere. Scrolling, reading and typing are invisible to us. The extension is idle until you ask it for something. - When you ask, it sends only that request. A reply suggestion sends the recent messages of the open chat. A transcription sends that one audio clip. A summary sends that one thread. Nothing else travels with it. - It goes to the AI provider you chose, not to us. If you brought your own API key, the request goes straight from your browser to that provider under that provider's terms, and never passes through any server of ours. If you are on a paid plan it passes through our gateway so that usage can be metered, and the message content is not retained after the request completes. - No chat history is stored on our servers. There is no copy of your conversations anywhere in our infrastructure, because none is ever uploaded. - The on-device options send nothing at all. Whisper transcription and Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano run inside your browser. When you use them, no message and no audio leaves your computer. About your API key. It is encrypted with AES-GCM and kept in the extension's own storage on your device, and it is never transmitted to us. Be precise about what that protects against: the encryption key sits on the same device, so this stops casual inspection rather than someone who already has access to your computer. The real boundary is that the key never leaves the machine you typed it on. ## Every permission, and why Reply Wizard requests six Chrome permissions and access to exactly one website. It asks for no access to your browsing history, your tabs, your bookmarks, your downloads, your clipboard or any site other than WhatsApp Web. The full list is below, taken from the extension's own manifest. ### Reply Wizard permissions, version 3.6.6 Permission | What it is for storage | Keeps your settings, your saved templates and your encrypted API key inside your own browser. scripting | Puts the Reply Wizard bar into a WhatsApp Web tab, including after the extension updates. offscreen | Runs on-device Whisper transcription in a hidden background document, because speech recognition needs a page context that a service worker does not have. unlimitedStorage | Holds an on-device speech model after you choose to download one. Without it, Chrome's default quota is too small for the model file. alarms | Fires a reminder at the time you set for it. notifications | Shows that reminder when it fires. identity | Opens the OpenRouter sign-in window when you press Sign in with OpenRouter, and nothing else. It does not read your Google account or email. https://web.whatsapp.com/ | The only website Reply Wizard is allowed to touch. Every AI provider host is an optional permission, requested one at a time when you save a key for that provider, and it can be revoked from Chrome's own extension settings. Each name above is a standard Chrome permission; Chrome publishes what each one grants in its permissions reference. One consequence of Manifest V3 is worth knowing, because it is a security property rather than a promise we are making. A Manifest V3 extension may not load and run code from a remote server; Google both requires this technically and enforces it as Chrome Web Store policy. Everything Reply Wizard executes was reviewed by Google before it reached you, and it cannot be quietly swapped for something else between reviews. ## Whether it puts your WhatsApp account at risk Only WhatsApp can say what its terms allow, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can state precisely is what Reply Wizard does: it does not automate sending, it does not send at all, it does not bulk-message, it does not schedule, it does not connect to any unofficial WhatsApp API, and it does not use a modified WhatsApp client. It reads the page you already have open, in the browser you already logged into, and writes text into the box you were going to type in. The behaviours messaging platforms usually act against are automated or bulk sending and unofficial clients. Reply Wizard is architecturally incapable of the first: nothing in it can call WhatsApp's send. And it is not a client at all; it is an overlay on the official web app, which continues to do all the messaging itself. If this matters to you, read WhatsApp's Terms of Service and decide for yourself. We would rather point you at the primary source than summarise it in our own favour. ## Three ways to run the AI, compared Reply Wizard can get its intelligence from three different places, and the choice is yours at any time. Bring your own API key and Reply Wizard is free forever. Run a model on your own computer and nothing leaves the machine. Or subscribe, from $5.99 a month, and we supply the key. The features are identical in all three; only the cost and the path your text takes are different. ### The three ways to power Reply Wizard Your own API key On your own device A Reply Wizard plan What you pay us | Nothing, ever | Nothing, ever | $5.99 or $9.99 a month What you pay elsewhere | Your provider's usage rates | Nothing | Nothing Where your text goes | Straight to the provider you chose, never through us | Nowhere. It stays in your browser | Through our gateway to the model, not retained afterwards Setup | Create a key at the provider, paste it once | Download a model once, from within the extension | Subscribe. There is nothing to configure Choice of model | 13 providers, and any local OpenAI-compatible endpoint | Whisper for speech, Chrome's Gemini Nano for text | Curated. Power adds the larger models Works offline | No | Yes, once the model is downloaded | No Best for | Anyone who already holds an AI key | Anyone who wants nothing to leave the machine | Anyone who does not want to think about keys The thirteen providers you can bring a key from are OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Mistral, OpenRouter, DeepSeek, xAI, Zhipu, Moonshot, Qwen, Groq, Together AI and Cerebras. A local endpoint, such as LM Studio, is also supported, and for security it must be on localhost: the extension's content security policy fixes the set of hosts it can reach at build time, so a typed remote URL is refused rather than trusted. ## How to transcribe a WhatsApp voice message To read a WhatsApp voice message as text instead of listening to it: install Reply Wizard in Chrome, open the chat at web.whatsapp.com, and press the transcribe control on the voice note. The text appears under the message in a few seconds. You can transcribe in the cloud through a provider key or a Reply Wizard plan (which uses about 7,000 tokens of its allowance for a 30-second voice note), or entirely on your own device with Whisper, in which case the audio never leaves your computer. - ### Install the extension Add Reply Wizard from the Chrome Web Store and open web.whatsapp.com. No account or card is needed. - ### Pick a speech engine In the extension's settings, choose a cloud engine (Groq, OpenAI, Google Gemini, ElevenLabs, OpenRouter, Mistral or Together AI, using your own key) or choose on-device Whisper and download a model once. Whisper is offered in several sizes, from tiny for a modest machine up to large-v3-turbo, and the extension benchmarks your GPU to recommend one. - ### Transcribe the voice note Open the chat and press the transcribe control on the voice message. The transcript appears beneath it, with buttons to copy it, drop it into your draft, redo it, or change the settings for that one message. Whisper is the open speech-recognition model published by OpenAI; Reply Wizard runs it in your browser through ONNX Runtime and WebGPU. Source: openai/whisper. Chrome's on-device text model, Gemini Nano, is documented as Chrome built-in AI. More on engines, code-mixed speech such as Hinglish and Tanglish, and where the audio goes: WhatsApp voice to text. Reading messages in another language: translation. Replies that answer from your prices and hours: Business Facts. ## How to summarise a long group chat To catch up on a WhatsApp group without reading every message: open the group at web.whatsapp.com with Reply Wizard installed and press Summarise. The extension reads the recent messages that are on screen and returns a short account of what was decided, what was asked and what is still open, in a panel over the chat. A long voice note can be summarised the same way, from its transcript. - ### Open the group Scroll back as far as you want the summary to cover. Reply Wizard summarises what the page holds, so how far you scroll is how much it reads. - ### Press Summarise The control sits in the Reply Wizard bar under the message box. How many messages are included is a setting you control. - ### Read, then act The summary opens in a panel. Nothing is posted to the group: a summary is for you, and the group never learns that you asked for one. ## What Reply Wizard cannot do Reply Wizard cannot send a message, cannot auto-reply, cannot bulk-message, cannot schedule a message, cannot run on the WhatsApp phone or desktop apps, cannot run on Telegram, Slack, Messenger, Instagram or Discord, cannot read a chat you have not opened, and cannot work without WhatsApp Web open in front of it. Several of these are the point of it rather than gaps in it. - It cannot send. There is no send path in the extension at all. Reminders open a chat and stop; templates fill the box and stop. - It cannot auto-reply. Nothing happens unless you press something. There is no bot, no trigger and no rule engine. - It cannot bulk-message or schedule. Neither exists, and neither is planned. - It does not run on mobile. Chrome extensions do not run on the WhatsApp iPhone or Android apps, and Reply Wizard is a Chrome extension. - It does not run on other messengers. WhatsApp Web only. If that changes we will say so here, and not before. - It cannot read a chat you have not opened. No archive access, no background scanning, no crawling your chat list. - It does not keep your conversations. No chat history is stored on our servers, because none is uploaded to them. - It cannot reach a remote custom endpoint. A self-hosted model has to be on localhost. This is a deliberate restriction, not a missing feature. ## The words used on this site Five terms appear throughout Reply Wizard's documentation and are worth defining once: BYOK, token, on-device, Manifest V3 and MCP. **BYOK, or bring your own key** Using Reply Wizard with an API key you obtained yourself from an AI provider. The provider bills you directly at their rates, Reply Wizard charges nothing, and your requests never pass through our servers. **Token** The unit AI providers bill in, roughly three quarters of an English word. Reply Wizard's Pro plan includes 2.5 million tokens a month, which is about 2,500 reply suggestions; the Power plan includes 10 million. **On-device** AI that runs inside your own browser rather than on someone's server. In Reply Wizard this means Whisper for speech-to-text and Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano for text. Nothing is uploaded, and it keeps working with no internet connection once the model has been downloaded. **Manifest V3** The current Chrome extension platform. Its most relevant rule here is that an extension may not download and run code from a remote server, so what Google reviewed is what runs on your machine. **MCP, or Model Context Protocol** An open standard that lets an AI assistant read from a tool. Reply Wizard can expose your WhatsApp Web to an assistant on your own computer through it. The connection is local-only and read-only, it is off until you turn it on, and your API keys never travel across it. Setting it up, and every tool it exposes, is documented in full. See also modelcontextprotocol.io. Questions ## More questions The eight most common ones are answered on the home page. These are the rest. **Q. Does Reply Wizard work on the WhatsApp mobile app?** No. Reply Wizard is a Chrome extension, and Chrome extensions do not run inside the WhatsApp app on iPhone or Android, nor inside the WhatsApp desktop app. It works at web.whatsapp.com in a Chromium desktop browser, and nowhere else. **Q. Can I use it without an internet connection?** Partly, and this is the one case where the answer is genuinely yes. If you have downloaded an on-device Whisper model, transcription runs with no network call at all. Chrome's built-in Gemini Nano is on-device too. Anything using a cloud provider needs a connection, and WhatsApp Web itself needs one to show you the chat. **Q. Which languages does it work in?** Microphone dictation offers Chrome's own speech-recognition set, 101 language tags covering the major world languages and their regional variants, and you can shortlist up to five and switch between them from the reply bar. Replies, summaries and rewrites work in whatever languages the AI model you selected supports, which for the major providers is most of them. **Q. Does Reply Wizard slow down WhatsApp Web?** It should not. The extension is idle until you press something: it adds a bar under the message box and then waits. The one thing with a real cost is on-device transcription, which uses your GPU while it runs, and it only runs when you ask for a transcript. **Q. Can WhatsApp, or my employer, see that I am using it?** Reply Wizard sends nothing to WhatsApp and announces itself to nobody. It does not post, mark or watermark anything, and a summary or a transcript is never visible to the other person in the chat. We cannot make claims about what a managed device or a corporate browser policy can observe about installed extensions, because that is a property of your machine and not of this software. **Q. What happens to a transcript after it is made?** It stays in your browser so that you can reopen the same voice note without paying to transcribe it twice. Audio captured for a transcription is held only for as long as that transcription takes and is not retained by us afterwards. Nothing is stored on our servers at any point. **Q. Can I point it at my company's own model endpoint?** Only if that endpoint is on your own machine. Reply Wizard supports any OpenAI-compatible server running on localhost, which covers LM Studio, Ollama behind a compatible shim, and similar. A remote URL is deliberately refused: the set of hosts the extension may contact is fixed when it is built, so a typed address cannot become an exfiltration route. **Q. Does it work in group chats?** Yes. Summaries are the feature groups benefit from most, and reply suggestions read the recent group messages the same way they read a one-to-one thread. Reminders behave differently in a group: rather than opening the chat with text prefilled, they show you a card, because prefilling a message into a group is a mistake waiting to happen. **Q. Do you train AI models on my messages?** No. Palworks trains nothing and stores no conversations. When you use your own API key, what that provider does with the request is governed by that provider's terms, which you should read, and several of them let you opt out of training. When you are on a Reply Wizard plan, the request passes through our gateway to a model and the content is not retained after it completes. **Q. What happens when my subscription ends?** The extension keeps working. A lapsed or cancelled plan falls back to bring-your-own-key and to the on-device options, both of which are free and neither of which is degraded. You lose the managed key, not the software. **Q. Is Reply Wizard open source?** No, the source is not public. What is verifiable is that every Manifest V3 extension ships its code to your machine and cannot fetch more at runtime, so what Google reviewed is what runs. If you want to read what a version does, the code is on your own disk after you install it. **Q. How do I uninstall it, and what is left behind?** Remove it from Chrome's extensions page like any other extension. Chrome deletes its storage with it, which includes your settings, your saved templates, your API key and any on-device model you downloaded. With your own API key there is no account of ours to close. If you used a Reply Wizard plan, cancel it from Plan and Billing, and email support@replywizard.app if you also want the account record deleted. ## Read all of that and still curious? There is a replywizard command line onto the same bridge. It runs entirely on your machine, and it has no way to send a message. Reply Wizard 3.6.6 · replywizard-whatsapp-mcp 0.5.0 · Palworks FZE LLC ## What this is The Model Context Protocol is the standard way an AI client asks an outside system for information. Reply Wizard speaks it, so an assistant on your desktop can read the WhatsApp Web session already open in your browser, without a WhatsApp Business account, an API key or a phone-number registration. A Chrome extension cannot be an MCP server on its own: it has no listening socket and no stdio. So there is one small companion process, published on npm as replywizard-whatsapp-mcp, which bridges the two ends. Your AI client launches it; you do not install it by hand. AI client ──MCP over stdio──▶ replywizard-whatsapp-mcp │ WebSocket on 127.0.0.1 │ ▼ Reply Wizard extension ──▶ WhatsApp Web Both hops are on 127.0.0.1. Nothing in this path reaches a server we run, and the bridge refuses every request until you have entered a pairing code in the extension. ## What you need first - Reply Wizard installed, in Chrome or another Chromium browser. - WhatsApp Web open and logged in, in a tab. Every tool reads that live page, so a closed tab means no answer. - Node.js 18 or later, because your client starts the bridge with npx. - An AI provider configured in Reply Wizard, but only for the three tools that generate text. Reading your chats needs no provider at all. ## Connect your AI client The extension's WhatsApp MCP tab has one-click buttons for Cursor and VS Code, a copy button for the Claude Code command, and the raw configuration on screen beside them. An install deeplink is opaque by nature, so reading it first is always an option. The same configuration is written out here. ### Claude Desktop Add this to claude_desktop_config.json: { "mcpServers": { "replywizard": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "replywizard-whatsapp-mcp"] } } } ### Claude Code claude mcp add replywizard -- npx -y replywizard-whatsapp-mcp ### Cursor and VS Code Open the extension's WhatsApp MCP tab and press Add to Cursor or Add to VS Code. The editor receives exactly the configuration above. ### Antigravity Antigravity keeps two server lists, and only one of them reaches the agent. Press Copy Antigravity config on the same tab and paste it into the agent's file: ~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json Then reopen the agent panel. If Reply Wizard does not appear in its server list, switch it on there: a server can be configured and still not loaded. The editor also keeps its own list, at ~/.config/Antigravity IDE/User/mcp.json, which the agent does not read. The command below writes that one, and the tab prints it for anyone who wants the entry in the editor's MCP panel as well: antigravity-ide --add-mcp '{"name":"replywizard","type":"stdio","command":"npx","args":["-y","replywizard-whatsapp-mcp"]}' ### Running from a clone instead Point your client at node /absolute/path/to/mcp-host/src/connector.js after an npm install in that directory. Use the single-argument npx -y replywizard-whatsapp-mcp form. The older -p form fails to launch in some clients. ## The command line The same package installs a replywizard command. It talks to the same local daemon your editors talk to, so it works while all of them are still attached, and it can do exactly what an AI client can do and no more. replywizard status # is the bridge up, is the browser paired replywizard chats --limit 10 replywizard messages 919110412164 --limit 20 replywizard summarize 919110412164 # uses your configured AI provider replywizard suggest 919110412164 "politely decline" Add --json for the raw answer, and a failed call exits non-zero, so a shell script can branch on it: replywizard chats --limit 5 --json | jq -r '.chats[] | "\(.unreadCount)\t\(.name)"' There is no send command, because there is no send path in the extension. The first command starts the shared daemon if nothing else has, and it appears beside your editors under Connected assistants on the extension's MCP tab. Not installed globally? npx -y -p replywizard-whatsapp-mcp replywizard --help runs it without installing anything. Full guide, including use from another computer: /cli. ## Pair it, once Nothing runs until you type a six-digit code into the extension. That is the whole authorisation model: a process on your machine cannot read your WhatsApp until you have confirmed, in the browser, that you meant it. - Open WhatsApp Web in the browser that has Reply Wizard. - Open Reply Wizard's settings and go to the WhatsApp MCP tab. Turn on Enable AI access. - Start your AI client. It launches the bridge, which prints a six-digit pairing code and shows it as a desktop notification. - Type that code into the pairing field on the same tab, and press Pair. Running the client in the background where you cannot see its log? The code is also written to ~/.replywizard-mcp/pairing-code.txt. Once paired, the extension stores a session token and reconnects on its own. You will not be asked again. Revoke pairing, on the same tab, drops the token and closes the bridge. A code lasts five minutes, survives a reconnect without being reissued, and is destroyed the moment it is used. Five wrong attempts lock it out, and reconnecting does not hand you five more. ## Every tool, and what it takes Eight tools. Five of them only read. Three generate text using the AI provider you have already configured in the extension, which is why they are listed separately: they are the ones that can cost you money at your own provider. ### Reading ### Read-only tools. These never call an AI provider. | Tool | Arguments | What comes back ping echo (optional string) Confirms the extension is connected and a WhatsApp Web tab is reachable. Start here when something is wrong. list_chats limit (1 to 100, default 20) Your chats, most recently active first: id, name, isGroup, unreadCount, timestamp. The id is what every other tool wants. get_messages chatId (required), limit (1 to 100, default 30) Recent messages, oldest first: sender, timestamp, type and text. Media is labelled rather than downloaded, and a voice note reports its duration. get_contact contactId (required) One contact: name, pushname, and whether it is a business or a saved contact. list_contacts limit (1 to 500, default 100), includeNonContacts (default false) Your address book. People you have messaged but never saved are left out unless you ask for them. ### Generating ### Tools that use your configured AI provider. | Tool | Arguments | What comes back summarize_chat chatId (required), limit (1 to 100, default 40) Bullet points: key points, decisions, action items. suggest_reply chatId (required), limit (default 20), guidance (optional steer) A draft written as you. Text only. It does not send anything, and there is no tool that does. transcribe_voice_note messageId (required, from get_messages) The words in a voice note. This one needs a cloud speech-to-text key: the on-device Whisper path is not used over MCP. ### Chat and contact ids An id from list_chats looks like 84726351928374@lid for a one-to-one chat or 12345-1600000000@g.us for a group. WhatsApp has moved personal chats onto linked ids, which deliberately contain no phone number. A plain phone number in digits also resolves, for example 919110412164. An id is matched exactly, or by its user part, or by phone number, in that order. There is no partial match on purpose: under linked-id addressing a substring can land on a different person's chat. ## Things to ask for You do not call tools by name. You ask, and the assistant picks. - “Catch me up on the family group, I have not read it since Friday.” - “What did Anita actually agree to in that thread?” - “Find the address someone sent me last week.” - “Which chats have I left unread the longest?” - “Draft a polite decline to the last message, keep it two lines.” - “Read me that voice note instead of making me listen to it.” The last two produce text in your assistant. Sending it is still something you do yourself, in WhatsApp. ## Several assistants at once Connect as many as you like, at the same time, and it needs no extra setup: the npx configuration above runs a small connector, which starts one shared daemon behind it. Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Antigravity, Claude Desktop, the replywizard command line and a second window of any of them can all be attached at once. Each gets its own session, and a quick lookup is never held up behind a long summary. Measured with four clients attached: three simultaneous calls answered in about 25 milliseconds each. The one limit is on the other side of the bridge: one WhatsApp Web browser at a time. A second browser running the extension is refused rather than taking the first one's place. client A ─┐ client B ─┼─▶ connector ─▶ daemon ⇄ Reply Wizard ⇄ WhatsApp Web client C ─┘ (one daemon, many sessions) A client that speaks HTTP can skip the connector and talk to the daemon directly, at http://127.0.0.1:7870/mcp, with a bearer token. The daemon writes that token to ~/.replywizard-mcp/daemon-token.json on first start, readable only by you. Delete the file to revoke it; the next start mints a new one. The connector reads the token for you, so it never has to appear in your client's configuration. ## Ports and environment variables ### Everything configurable, and its default. | Variable | Default | What it sets RW_MCP_PORT | 7869 | The WebSocket port the extension dials. Change it on both sides or nothing connects. RW_MCP_HTTP_PORT | 7870 | The daemon's HTTP port for clients. RW_MCP_IDLE_MS | 1800000 | How long the daemon waits with no sessions before exiting. Zero keeps it running. RW_MCP_STALE_SESSION_MS | 600000 | How long a silent session is kept before it is reaped, for a client that crashed without disconnecting. ## What it cannot do There is no tool that sends, deletes, forwards or edits a WhatsApp message, and there is no combination of the eight above that adds up to one. The capability is absent from the protocol, not disabled by a setting. - It cannot send a message, react, or mark anything as read. - It cannot add, block or delete a contact, or leave a group. - It cannot reach WhatsApp when your browser is closed. It reads the page you have open. - It cannot read a message WhatsApp Web has not loaded. Scrollback is what the page is holding, not the full history. - It cannot download media. A photo or a file is reported as one, not fetched. - It cannot be reached from another machine. Both sockets are bound to 127.0.0.1. ## Where your data goes - To your AI client, on your machine. That is the point of the bridge, and it is the whole of the local path. - To your AI provider, for the three generating tools only, using the key already in the extension. The bridge never sees that key: it forwards a request and receives a result. - To us: nothing. We run no server in this path. There is nothing for us to receive. The session token lives at ~/.replywizard-mcp/session.json, readable only by you. Revoking the pairing in the extension invalidates it immediately. ## When something does not work Ask your assistant to run ping first. It separates “the bridge is not there” from “the bridge is there and the answer is empty”, which are the two problems that look identical. ### What each message means. | What you see | What to do Reply Wizard extension is not connected | Open WhatsApp Web, then turn on Enable AI access on the WhatsApp MCP tab. Not paired yet | Enter the six-digit code. It is in your client's MCP log, in the desktop notification, or in ~/.replywizard-mcp/pairing-code.txt. Click Read transcription on the voice note and the words appear under it in a few seconds. It detects the language itself, handles code-mixed speech such as Hinglish and Tanglish, and can run entirely on your own computer with Whisper, free and with no upload. Last reviewed 30 September 2026 · Reply Wizard 3.6.6 · Palworks FZE LLC ## How to transcribe a WhatsApp voice message on your computer To read a WhatsApp voice message as text: install Reply Wizard in Chrome, open the chat at web.whatsapp.com, and click Read transcription on the voice note. The transcript appears under the message in a few seconds, and the voice note is never played aloud. - ### Install the extension Add Reply Wizard from the Chrome Web Store and open web.whatsapp.com. No account or card is needed. - ### Choose how to transcribe In the extension settings, under Voice Transcription, choose On-device Whisper (free, nothing uploaded), a cloud engine with your own key, or your Reply Wizard plan. - ### Click Read transcription Open any chat and click Read transcription on an incoming voice note. The text appears beneath it, with buttons to copy it, put it in your message box, redo it, or change the settings for that one message. ## Three ways to transcribe, compared Reply Wizard can transcribe a voice note in three places: on your own computer with Whisper, through a speech provider you hold a key for, or through a Reply Wizard plan. On-device Whisper costs nothing and sends nothing anywhere; the cloud engines are faster on a modest computer and more accurate on hard audio. ### Where a Reply Wizard transcription runs, and what each costs | On your computer (Whisper) | Your own key | A Reply Wizard plan What it costs | Nothing, and no limit | Your provider's own rates (Groq, Gemini, ElevenLabs, OpenRouter and more) | Part of the Pro or Power allowance: about 7,000 tokens for a 30-second note Where the audio goes | Nowhere. It never leaves the browser | Straight to that provider, never through us | Through our gateway to Google's Gemini, and it is not kept Setup | Download a model once, from 75 MB (Tiny) to 1.5 GB (Large-v3-turbo) | Paste the key once | Subscribe. There is nothing to configure Works offline | Yes, once the model is downloaded | No | No Best for | Privacy, and anyone with no key | Anyone who already pays for Groq, Gemini, ElevenLabs, OpenRouter or OpenAI | Anyone who does not want to manage keys Whisper is the open speech-recognition model published by OpenAI; Reply Wizard runs it in your browser through ONNX Runtime and WebGPU. Source: openai/whisper. ## Hinglish, Tanglish and other code-mixed voice notes Much of WhatsApp speech mixes two languages in one sentence, such as Tamil or Hindi with English words dropped in. Reply Wizard sends every transcription a spelling style, and the default, As spoken, keeps English words in English letters and the rest in its own script, so "office" stays "office" rather than being spelled in Tamil letters. ### English words kept in English letters, casual code-mixed voice notes, measured 29 September 2026 | Clean audio | With background noise gemini-3.1-flash-lite, spelling sample only | 53% | 60% gemini-2.5-flash, spelling instruction and reasoning | 90% | 94% Measured by us over 162 requests on twelve casual clips in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali and Marathi, each clean and with noise added, plus real voice notes. The first setup kept no English word in English letters at all in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali; the second fixed all four. The Reply Wizard plan moves to the second setup from version 3.5.7. Three spelling styles are offered, under Voice Transcription in the settings: As spoken (English words in English, the rest in its own script), One script only (everything in the spoken language's own script) and Latin letters (everything romanised, the way people type in a chat). ## What you can do with a transcript A Reply Wizard transcript is a working piece of text, not just a caption. You can copy it, put it straight into your message box, summarise it, or let a suggested reply answer it, because Reply Wizard reads transcribed voice notes as part of the conversation. - Summarise a long voice note. Choose a style for the transcript: Normal (up to 160 words), Short (80), Concise (40), or bullet points. - Reply to it. Suggest Reply reads a transcribed voice note like any other message, so the draft answers what was said. - Dictate your answer. Hold the microphone in the reply bar and speak; your words land in the message box for you to send. ## Where the audio goes With on-device Whisper, a WhatsApp voice note is transcribed inside your browser and the audio goes nowhere. With your own key it goes straight to that provider. On a Reply Wizard plan it passes through our gateway to Google's Gemini and is not kept: nothing spoken is logged, not the audio and not the transcript. Reply Wizard transcribes a voice note only when you click Read transcription on it. It never transcribes in the background, and a chat you have not opened is a chat it has not read. The full detail is in the privacy policy. Questions ## Questions about WhatsApp voice to text **Q. Can I transcribe WhatsApp voice messages on my computer?** Yes. Reply Wizard adds a Read transcription control to every incoming voice note in WhatsApp Web, at web.whatsapp.com, in Google Chrome and other Chromium browsers. Click it and the words appear under the voice note. **Q. Is WhatsApp voice to text free?** Yes. On-device Whisper transcription is free and unlimited, needs no account and no API key, and works offline once the model is downloaded. With your own Groq, Gemini, ElevenLabs, OpenRouter or OpenAI key, Reply Wizard is also free and your provider bills you directly. **Q. Which languages can it transcribe?** Reply Wizard detects the spoken language automatically, and you can fix one in the settings if you prefer. Whisper and Gemini are both multilingual, and Reply Wizard has been measured on Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali and Marathi, including voice notes that mix them with English. **Q. Does it work on the WhatsApp phone app?** No. Reply Wizard is a Chrome extension, so it works in WhatsApp Web on a computer, not in the WhatsApp app on iPhone or Android and not in the WhatsApp desktop app. **Q. Does it work in group chats?** Yes. Any incoming voice note in the chat you have open can be transcribed, in a one-to-one chat or a group. **Q. Can it summarise a long voice note?** Yes. Set a summary style for transcripts, from Normal (up to 160 words) to Concise bullet points, and a five-minute voice note comes back as the points that matter. **Q. Is the audio stored anywhere?** Not by us. On-device Whisper keeps it in your browser. With your own key it goes to that provider under their terms. On a Reply Wizard plan it passes through our gateway to Google's Gemini and is not kept, and nothing spoken is logged. ## Try it on the next message that arrives The free version needs no account, no email address and no card, so trying it is cheaper than deciding. Add to Chrome, free Read the guide ============================================================================== SOURCE: https://replywizard.app/translate PAGE: Translating and transliterating WhatsApp messages ============================================================================== Translation # Translate and transliterate WhatsApp messages Reply Wizard adds a Read translation control under incoming WhatsApp Web messages written in another language. It shows the message in your own language, transliterated into Latin letters, or both at once, in twelve languages. When Chrome already has the language pack, the translation happens on your own computer and the message never leaves the page. Last reviewed 30 September 2026 · Reply Wizard 3.6.6 · Palworks FZE LLC ## How to translate a WhatsApp message on your computer To translate a WhatsApp message: install Reply Wizard in Chrome, choose your language under Translation in its settings, then click Read translation under the message in WhatsApp Web. The translation appears on its own panel below the original, which is never replaced. - ### Install the extension Add Reply Wizard from the Chrome Web Store and open web.whatsapp.com. - ### Choose your language and mode In the settings, under Translation, pick the language you read and whether you want a translation, a transliteration, or both. The gear on the translation bar changes them from inside the chat. - ### Click Read translation Under a message in another language or script, click Read translation. It appears only where it is useful, so an English message in an English chat gets no control. ## Translation, transliteration, or both Reply Wizard offers three ways to read a message: Translation gives its meaning in your language, Transliteration gives the same words in Latin letters for a language you speak but cannot read, and Both gives the transliteration first and then the meaning. ### The three modes, shown on the message "நான் office ல meeting முடிச்சிட்டு வரேன்" | What you get | Example Translation | What the message means, in your language | I’ll come once I finish a meeting at the office Transliteration | The same words in Latin letters, spelled the way people type them in a chat | naan office-la meeting mudichittu varen Both | Transliteration first, then the meaning. Costs one extra request | naan office-la meeting mudichittu varen / I’ll come once I finish a meeting at the office ## The twelve languages Reply Wizard translates WhatsApp messages into English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Arabic, Spanish, French and Chinese (Simplified). Any other language can be typed in as a language code, so nothing is refused. The message itself can be in any language. Reply Wizard offers the control when a message contains letters outside the script of your language, and where Chrome's on-device language detector is available it also catches a same-script language, such as Spanish for an English reader. ## Translated on your own computer When Chrome has the language pack for a pair of languages, Reply Wizard translates with Chrome's built-in Translator on your own computer: no request, no provider, and the message never leaves the page. Otherwise the translation goes to the AI provider you already use for replies. Chrome cannot transliterate, so Transliteration and Both always use your AI provider. Chrome also cannot translate Malayalam, Gujarati, Punjabi or Urdu on-device at the time of writing, so those go to your provider too. Automatic translation is on by default and applies only to the on-device path, which costs nothing and makes no request. Chrome documents its on-device translation as the Translator API, part of Chrome built-in AI. ## Translate your own reply before you send it Reply Wizard can also translate your draft into the language the other person is writing in. It reads their recent messages rather than guessing a language code, so a reply to a code-mixed chat stays code-mixed, and the translation replaces your draft in the message box for you to read and send yourself. Questions ## Questions about translating WhatsApp messages **Q. How do I translate a WhatsApp message on my computer?** Install Reply Wizard in Chrome, choose your language under Translation in its settings, and click Read translation under the message in WhatsApp Web. The translation appears below the original. **Q. Can I read Hindi or Tamil messages in English letters?** Yes. Choose Transliteration and Reply Wizard shows the same words in Latin letters, spelled the way people type them in a chat, for a language you speak but cannot read. Choose Both to get the meaning as well. **Q. Is WhatsApp message translation free?** On-device translation with Chrome's built-in Translator is free and makes no request. Otherwise a translation uses the AI provider you already use for replies: free with your own key, which your provider bills, or part of a Reply Wizard plan's allowance. **Q. Does it replace the original message?** No. The original stays exactly where it is, and the translation is added on its own panel below it. **Q. Can it translate my reply into their language?** Yes. Translate your draft from the reply bar and it is rewritten in the language the other person is writing in. Nothing is sent: you read it and press send yourself. **Q. Is my message sent anywhere to be translated?** Not when Chrome translates on-device: the message never leaves the page. Otherwise it goes to the AI provider you chose, or through our gateway on a Reply Wizard plan, where it is not kept. ## Try it on the next message that arrives The free version needs no account, no email address and no card, so trying it is cheaper than deciding. Add to Chrome, free Read the guide ============================================================================== SOURCE: https://replywizard.app/business PAGE: Business Facts: replies that answer from your hours, prices and menu ============================================================================== For businesses on WhatsApp # AI replies that know your business Reply Wizard's Business Facts gives suggested WhatsApp replies the facts they need: your opening hours, prices and policies as notes, and your menu or price list as a spreadsheet. From a spreadsheet only the rows that match the conversation are sent, chosen on your own computer. When your facts do not answer a question, the reply says you will check instead of guessing, and nothing is ever sent without you. Last reviewed 30 September 2026 · Reply Wizard 3.6.6 · Palworks FZE LLC ## How to give WhatsApp replies your business facts To make Reply Wizard's suggested replies answer from your own business details: open the Business Facts tab in its settings, add your notes or import a price list, then click Suggest Response in a customer's chat. The reply uses your facts and waits in the message box for you to check and send. - ### Open Business Facts In the Reply Wizard settings, open the Business Facts tab. - ### Add notes or import a table Write your hours, address, delivery areas and policies as notes, and import a menu or price list from Excel (.xlsx), CSV or TSV, or paste cells straight from a sheet. Try it shows exactly which facts a question would receive. - ### Suggest a reply In a customer's chat, click Suggest Response. The draft answers from your facts; you read it, edit it and send it yourself. ## What you can add Business Facts takes two kinds of information: up to 8,000 characters of notes, sent with every suggested reply, and up to five tables of up to 2,000 rows and 30 columns each, from which only the rows matching the conversation are sent. ### Business Facts limits, version 3.6.6 | Notes | Tables Size | Up to 8,000 characters | Up to 5 tables, 2,000 rows and 30 columns each Formats | Plain text | Excel (.xlsx, every filled sheet), CSV, TSV, or pasted cells What a reply receives | All of it, every time | A small table whole; from a large one, only the rows that match the chat Good for | Opening hours, address, delivery areas, payment methods, policies | Menus, price lists, room types, stock, service catalogues The matching runs on your computer: rows are ranked against the last few messages of the chat, accents and plurals are folded, so "precios" finds a "Precio" column, and a large table with no match is still named, so the reply knows to check rather than guess. ## Does it stop made-up answers? Yes, in our measurement. Given the same customer questions, suggested replies without business facts answered correctly 3 times out of 24 and invented an answer 13 times; with the facts they answered correctly 24 times out of 24 and invented nothing. ### Suggested replies to 24 graded customer questions about a sample restaurant, on the Reply Wizard plan's model, measured 28 September 2026 | Answered from the facts | Invented an answer Without Business Facts | 3 of 24 | 13 With Business Facts | 24 of 24 | 0 The questions covered opening hours, a price, a two-item order in Spanish, a delivery area that is not served, and questions the facts do not answer, where the right reply is "I will check". ## Where your facts go Your Business Facts are stored in your own browser, not on our servers. Only a suggested reply uses them: the notes and the matching rows travel with that one request to the AI provider you already use, or through our gateway on a Reply Wizard plan, where they are not kept. Improve and dictation never receive them, because those rewrite what you wrote, and a fact added there would put words in your mouth. ## What it does not do Reply Wizard does not answer customers on its own. It never sends a message, runs no chatbot or auto-reply, does not use the WhatsApp Business API, and does not take orders or bookings. Every reply waits in the message box for you. Questions ## Questions from businesses **Q. Can AI answer my WhatsApp customers automatically?** Not with Reply Wizard, by design. It writes a suggested reply from your business facts and puts it in the message box; you read it and press send. There is no auto-reply and no way for it to send. **Q. Do I need the WhatsApp Business API?** No. Reply Wizard works in WhatsApp Web in your browser. It uses no WhatsApp API and no chatbot platform, so there is nothing to register or have approved. **Q. Can I import my menu or price list from Excel?** Yes. Import an .xlsx workbook, a CSV or TSV file, or paste cells from a spreadsheet. Up to five tables of 2,000 rows each, and only the rows that match the chat are sent with a reply. **Q. What happens when a customer asks something my facts do not cover?** The suggested reply says you will check instead of guessing. Business Facts is written to forbid inventing a price, a time or a policy. **Q. Does it work in Spanish and other languages?** Yes. Replies are written in the language of the conversation, and the matching ignores accents and plurals, so a question in Spanish finds the right rows of a Spanish price list. **Q. Does Business Facts cost extra?** No. It is part of every version of Reply Wizard, with any AI provider, including the free on-device and bring-your-own-key options. ## Try it on the next message that arrives The free version needs no account, no email address and no card, so trying it is cheaper than deciding. Add to Chrome, free Read the guide ============================================================================== SOURCE: https://replywizard.app/cli PAGE: The replywizard command line: local and remote, every command ============================================================================== Command line # Use WhatsApp from a terminal replywizard is a command line for your own WhatsApp Web session. It lists chats, reads messages, summarises a chat, drafts a reply and transcribes a voice note, from a terminal, a script or an AI coding agent. It reads through the Reply Wizard Chrome extension and never sends, edits or deletes a message: there is no send command. Reply Wizard 3.6.6 · replywizard-whatsapp-mcp 0.5.0 · Palworks FZE LLC ## How to use WhatsApp from a terminal with Reply Wizard To use WhatsApp from a terminal: install the Reply Wizard extension in Chrome and open web.whatsapp.com, install the replywizard command with npm, turn on Enable AI access on the extension's WhatsApp MCP tab, run any command and type the 6-digit pairing code it shows into the extension, once. After that, replywizard chats lists your chats. - ### Install both halves Add the Reply Wizard extension from the Chrome Web Store and open web.whatsapp.com. Then run npm install -g replywizard-whatsapp-mcp, or skip the install and prefix every command with npx -y -p replywizard-whatsapp-mcp. It needs Node.js 18 or later. - ### Pair it, once Turn on Enable AI access on the extension's WhatsApp MCP tab, then run any command. The bridge starts and shows a 6-digit pairing code as a desktop notification and in ~/.replywizard-mcp/pairing-code.txt; type it into the extension. replywizard pair tells you where to find it. Nothing is readable until you have confirmed it in the browser. - ### Run a command Try replywizard chats --limit 10. Check the connection at any time with replywizard status. ## The commands The command line has nine commands: status, pair, chats, messages, contacts, contact, summarize, suggest and transcribe. Seven read your WhatsApp, three of those use your AI provider, and none of them can send, edit or delete a message. ### The replywizard commands Command | What it does replywizard status | Shows whether the bridge is up and the browser is paired replywizard pair | Says where to find the 6-digit pairing code and how to enter it replywizard chats [--limit n] | Lists your chats replywizard messages [--limit n] | Reads the recent messages of one chat replywizard contacts [--limit n] [--includeNonContacts] | Lists your contacts, and with the flag the people who are not saved replywizard contact | Shows one contact replywizard summarize | Summarises a chat with your configured AI provider replywizard suggest [guidance] | Drafts a reply with your configured AI provider; the optional guidance steers it replywizard transcribe | Transcribes a voice note with your configured AI provider Add --json to any command for the raw answer and --help for the full list. summarize, suggest and transcribe use the AI provider you configured in Reply Wizard, so your key stays in the extension. replywizard chats --limit 5 --json | jq -r '.chats[] | "\(.unreadCount)\t\(.name)"' replywizard suggest 919110412164 "politely decline" The same commands are described, with the MCP tools they mirror, in the WhatsApp MCP guide. ## Local and remote The command line has two modes. Local mode runs on the same computer as Chrome through a bridge on 127.0.0.1 and is free. Remote mode works from any other computer, a server or a cloud coding agent, through Reply Wizard's relay, and needs a paid Reply Wizard plan. ### Local mode against remote mode | Local | Remote Where it runs | On the computer that runs Chrome | On any other computer, a server or a cloud coding agent How it reaches WhatsApp | A local bridge on 127.0.0.1 | https://mcp.replywizard.app Setup | A 6-digit pairing code, once | replywizard login once How you ask for it | The default | Add --remote, or set REPLYWIZARD_REMOTE=1 Cost | Free | Needs a paid Reply Wizard plan ## Using it from another computer To use the command line remotely: run replywizard login once and approve the sign-in in the browser, then add --remote to any command or set REPLYWIZARD_REMOTE=1. Chrome must stay open on your own computer with the extension and web.whatsapp.com open, because that is where WhatsApp is read. replywizard login opens a browser to sign in to your Reply Wizard account and approve. On a machine with no browser, open the link it prints on any device, approve there, and paste the address the browser lands on back into the terminal. replywizard login replywizard status --remote replywizard chats --limit 10 --remote export REPLYWIZARD_REMOTE=1 replywizard status --remote shows whether your browser is reachable. replywizard logout signs out. Remote mode needs three things on your side: - a paid Reply Wizard plan; - Chrome open on your computer with the extension and web.whatsapp.com open; - the Use from claude.ai and ChatGPT switch turned on in Reply Wizard's options, on the WhatsApp MCP tab. Remote calls go through https://mcp.replywizard.app. What is read passes through Reply Wizard's relay and is not stored. The sign-in stays valid for 30 days of use, and you can disconnect it at any time from My account. ## Why a command line for AI agents An AI agent can call replywizard from its shell and filter the output, for example with --json and jq, before the text reaches the model. Nothing is loaded into the model's context until the command is used, whereas an MCP connection loads every tool's description into each session. For these eight tools that description is about 1,000 tokens, measured on 2 October 2026. It is a small cost, and it is paid on every session whether or not WhatsApp is needed. A command line pays nothing until the agent runs it. If your client supports MCP and you want the tools to appear natively, the WhatsApp MCP guide covers that. Both routes read the same session and neither can send. Questions ## Questions about the replywizard command line **Q. How do I read my WhatsApp messages from a terminal?** Install the Reply Wizard extension and open WhatsApp Web, install the command with npm install -g replywizard-whatsapp-mcp, turn on Enable AI access on the extension's WhatsApp MCP tab, run any command and type the 6-digit pairing code into the extension, once. Then replywizard chats and replywizard messages read your own session. **Q. Can the command line send a WhatsApp message?** No. It never sends, edits or deletes a message, and there is no send command. suggest drafts a reply as text for you to read; you send it yourself. **Q. Do I need to install it?** No. Run npx -y -p replywizard-whatsapp-mcp replywizard followed by a command, for example status. It needs Node.js 18 or later. **Q. How do I use it from a server or a cloud coding agent?** Use remote mode. Run replywizard login once, approve the sign-in in a browser, then add --remote to any command or set REPLYWIZARD_REMOTE=1. It needs a paid Reply Wizard plan, and Chrome open on your own computer with the extension and web.whatsapp.com open. **Q. What if the machine has no browser?** replywizard login prints a link. Open it on any device, approve the sign-in, and paste the address the browser lands on back into the terminal. **Q. Is my WhatsApp data stored anywhere in remote mode?** No. Remote calls go through https://mcp.replywizard.app, and what is read passes through Reply Wizard's relay and is not stored. You can disconnect the sign-in from My account at any time. **Q. Which AI provider do summarize, suggest and transcribe use?** The one you configured in Reply Wizard. The key stays in the extension. ## Start with one command Local mode is free and needs no account. Install the extension, then run replywizard status. Every paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial, so you can decide before you are charged anything. If you are charged and Reply Wizard is not right for you, email support@replywizard.app within 14 days of that charge and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason. ## 1. The free trial comes first Every paid Reply Wizard plan begins with a 7-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged at all and there is nothing to refund. The trial includes 200,000 tokens, whichever plan you are trialling. That cap applies to the trial only: your plan's full monthly allowance starts when the subscription begins. If you reach the cap before the seven days are up, the extension tells you so. You can wait for the trial to end, or email support@replywizard.app and we will start the paid subscription early for you. The trial exists so that the decision is made before any money changes hands. We would rather you cancel a trial than ask for a refund, and we would much rather you do either than keep paying for something you do not use. ## 2. 14-day money-back guarantee If you are charged for your first billing period on a plan and decide within 14 days of that charge that Reply Wizard is not for you, we will refund it in full. You do not have to explain why. We will ask one optional question about what did not work, because that is how the product gets better, and an unanswered question does not delay the refund. This applies to both monthly and yearly plans, and to both Pro and Power. ## 3. Renewals after the first payment After the first billing period, subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. A renewal charge is not automatically refundable, because you were able to cancel at any point in the period before it. That said, we are not looking to keep money you did not mean to spend. If a renewal caught you out, tell us. In practice we refund a renewal in full when: - you contact us within 14 days of the renewal charge, and - you have made little or no use of the plan in that period. Outside that, we may offer a partial refund for the unused remainder of a yearly term. This is at our discretion and we decide it case by case, in your favour where it is a close call. ## 4. Token packs A token pack is a one-off payment, not a subscription. If you have not used any of its tokens, email us within 14 days of buying it and we will refund it in full; the pack’s tokens are removed from your account when the refund is issued. Once some of them have been used, a pack is not refundable, except where your statutory rights say otherwise (section 11). A pack’s tokens carry over from month to month while your plan is active and are used after your monthly allowance; they cannot be spent while the plan is cancelled or unpaid. ## 5. Cancelling is not the same as a refund Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund the period you have already paid for, and it does not cut your access short: you keep the plan until the end of that period, and then the subscription ends. You can cancel at any time, without contacting us, from the billing portal linked inside the extension under Plan and Billing. If you want a refund as well as a cancellation, ask for it explicitly using the process in section 6. ## 6. How to request a refund Email support@replywizard.app from the address you used at checkout, and include: - the email address on the subscription, if it differs from the one you are writing from, and - the approximate date of the charge, or the order or receipt number if you have it. That is the whole process. There is no form and no account to log into. We acknowledge every refund request within one business day. ## 7. How long a refund takes Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, in the original currency, within 5 business days of approval. How quickly the money appears after that is up to your bank or card issuer, and is usually a further 3 to 10 business days. We have no control over that step and cannot speed it up, but we can send you proof that the refund was issued. Your access to the paid plan ends when the refund is issued, and your managed API key stops working at the same time. The free version continues to work with your own key. ## 8. Where a refund is not available We will decline a refund where: - the request falls outside the windows described above and there are no circumstances that would make an exception fair; - the account has consumed a substantial share of its token allowance for the period being claimed; - the subscription was terminated by us for a breach of the Terms of Service, such as reselling access or abusing the service; or - we have reasonable evidence of repeated trial or refund abuse across accounts. If we decline, we will say which of these applies and why, in plain language, in writing. ## 9. The free version The free version of Reply Wizard costs nothing and has nothing to refund. If you use your own API key, you pay your AI provider directly under that provider’s terms. We do not bill you for that usage, we cannot see it, and we cannot refund it. Any billing question about your own key is a question for that provider. ## 10. Chargebacks If something has gone wrong, please email us before opening a dispute with your bank. A chargeback takes weeks and locks the account while it runs; an email is usually resolved the same day, and the outcome is the same refund. We will always give you the refund we owe you. Asking us first is faster for you, and it is the only route that lets us also fix whatever caused the problem. ## 11. Your statutory rights Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the consumer law that applies to you, including any statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation. Where the law gives you a stronger right than this policy does, the law applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as set out in the Terms of Service. ## 12. It covers the Reply Wizard browser extension for WhatsApp Web, the Reply Wizard plans, our servers at api.replywizard.app, mcp.replywizard.app and config.replywizard.app, and this website, replywizard.app. Reply Wizard is published by Palworks FZE LLC, Amber Gem Tower, Mezzanine Floor, Sheikh Khalifa Street, P.O. Box 4848, Ajman, United Arab Emirates (“we”, “us”). We decide how and why this data is processed. You can reach us at support@replywizard.app, and about privacy in particular at grievance@replywizard.app. ## Summary - Your chats stay in your browser until you ask for something. Opening a chat sends nothing. When you ask for a reply, a summary, a transcription, a translation or a rewrite, only what that one request needs is sent, and only to the AI service that will answer it. - We do not keep your messages or your audio. When a request goes through our servers, the content is passed on and not stored after the request completes. - We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising. - What we do keep depends on what you use: nothing at all for the on-device features; an account record (email address, plan, approximate location, usage counts) if you use a Reply Wizard plan; payment records if you buy one; and pseudonymous usage analytics, which you can switch off. ## 1. What stays on your device The extension keeps the following in your browser's own storage. We never receive it: - your settings, prompt templates, saved templates, reminders and business facts; - your history of requests and answers, and the transcripts of voice notes; - the API keys you enter for AI providers, stored encrypted; - the on-device speech and AI models you download. Uninstalling the extension deletes all of it. On-device transcription (Whisper) and Chrome's built-in AI run inside your browser and send no message or audio anywhere. ## 2. Messages and audio you ask us to process The extension reads the WhatsApp Web page you have open, in your browser, at the moment you ask it to do something. What happens next depends on how you set it up. ### With your own API key The content of the request (the recent messages of that chat, the voice note's audio, your draft, or your business facts where they apply) goes straight from your browser to the AI provider you chose, under that provider's own terms. It does not pass through our servers, and your API key is never sent to us. ### With a Reply Wizard plan (Free, Pro or Power) The request goes to our gateway at api.replywizard.app so that we can check your plan and count your usage. From there: - text, and audio for transcription, are processed by OpenAI's API, Google's Gemini API or Groq, as applicable. Neither we nor our gateway store the content or the audio after the request completes, and we do not log it. What we record about each request is described in section 3. ### With the Studio plan Requests go from your browser to OpenRouter directly, using a key we create for you there. Our gateway is not in that path. ### When you connect an AI assistant If you let an AI assistant (for example Claude or ChatGPT) use your WhatsApp through Reply Wizard, it can ask for your chat list, recent messages, contact details or a summary, and can place a draft in a chat's message box. Reply Wizard never sends a message for it. - On your own computer (the local bridge used by desktop assistants), the data passes between the assistant and your browser on your machine and does not reach us. - Through our relay (mcp.replywizard.app, used by claude.ai, ChatGPT and similar web assistants on a paid plan), each request and its answer pass through our relay on the way between the assistant and your browser. The relay does not store or log their content. We keep the record of the connected browser and assistant described in section 3. The assistant then handles the data under its own terms. ## 3. Personal data we collect and keep ### Your plan account When you start a plan (including the free plan) we create an account record holding: - your email address, if you gave one (the free plan can start without one; we then hold only a random identifier created by the extension for that browser); - your plan, its status and its dates; - your country, taken from your payment details or, if there are none, from the location of your internet connection; - your approximate city, worked out by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, from the IP address a plan request comes from. We store the city name, never the IP address; - a scrambled form (hash) of your plan key, never the key itself, and when it was last used; - daily usage counts: how many replies and transcriptions, how many tokens and seconds of audio, what they cost us, and how many requests were refused. These are numbers, never content. We use this to provide the plan, enforce its allowance, send you account email, help you when something goes wrong, notice accounts that are not working, and understand which features and regions our customers use. We keep these records in an internal customer database and in an internal spreadsheet that only we can open. ### Purchases Plans are sold by Paddle, our merchant of record (and, for subscriptions bought before Paddle, by Stripe). You enter your card details on their checkout and they never reach us. From them we receive: your email address, the name on the card, your country and, where they collect it, your postal code; the plan, the subscription's status and dates; the amounts paid; and refunds or disputes. We use this to deliver your plan, answer billing questions, keep accounting records and spot duplicate purchases. If a renewal payment fails, Paddle may email you, and on our checkout and My account pages its script (Paddle Retain) may show a notice asking you to update your card; on My account it is told your Paddle customer number so it can recognise you. It sets no cookie of its own. ### Signing in on replywizard.app If you sign in to My account we email you a one-time code or link (stored only in scrambled form, for at most 7 days). We set one cookie on api.replywizard.app that keeps you signed in for up to 30 days after you last use it. For each signed-in browser we record a coarse label (for example “Chrome on Windows”) and the first part of its IP address, so you can recognise and sign out your sessions. ### Connected assistants and browsers For the relay we keep, per account: each connected browser's label (taken from its browser name), a scrambled form of its access token and when it was last seen; each authorised assistant's name; and daily counts of which tools were used and whether they succeeded. ### Support messages When you use the Support form (in the extension or on this website) we receive your name, email address, optional phone number, message, optional rating and optional screenshot, plus a random identifier for that browser and the extension version. It is delivered as an email to our support mailbox, and we receive a short notification (your name and the start of your message) in our team chat. Screenshots larger than 2 MB are held in cloud storage that deletes them after 30 days; smaller ones are attached to the email. ### Security and abuse prevention Our servers see the IP address of every request. We use it, held for no more than 48 hours, in counters that limit how often the free plan, sign-in, key recovery and the Support form can be used from one address. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also processes it to deliver and protect the service. ### Updates to settings The extension regularly downloads small signed settings files from config.replywizard.app (for example, the default AI model). These requests carry no identifier; Cloudflare sees the IP address as it does for any request. You can switch this off in the extension under Privacy. ## 4. Usage analytics ### In the extension Unless you switch it off (extension settings, Privacy), the extension sends usage events to Google Analytics 4 and PostHog. They are tied to a random identifier created for your browser, not to your name, email or WhatsApp account, so they are pseudonymous rather than anonymous. An event records things like: which feature was used and from where in the interface; which AI provider and setting were chosen; how long a request took; whether it succeeded, and an error code if not; the extension version; and the language a message was translated into. Message lengths, audio lengths and counts are sent as ranges. Events never contain message content, chat or contact names, phone numbers, email addresses or API keys. PostHog works out an approximate location (country, region and city) from the connection an event arrives on, then discards the IP address; postcode and coordinates are removed before anything is kept. Google Analytics receives no location from the extension. ### On this website Most pages of replywizard.app use Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity (which records how a page is used, including a replay of scrolling, clicks and mouse movement; form fields are masked) and Cloudflare Web Analytics. The home page embeds a YouTube video in privacy-enhanced mode. The pages used for checkout, sign-in, connecting an assistant and receiving your key run no analytics. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google Analytics and Clarity load only after you press Accept on the cookie notice. Elsewhere they load without asking, and you can decline them with the Cookie settings link at the foot of each page, which also changes an earlier choice. To tell where you are, the page asks Cloudflare for your country; we do not store it. Cloudflare Web Analytics sets no cookies. ## 5. Email we send you We send email only about your account: confirming a purchase, a sign-in code or link, a link to recover your key, a check-in if a plan you pay for has not been used, and, once, a request to rate Reply Wizard after you have used a paid plan for about a week. They never contain your key, and you can reply STOP to the last two. We do not send marketing email. ## 6. Why we process it (legal bases) - To provide the service you asked for (performing our contract with you): processing your requests, running your plan and account, taking payments, sending account email and answering support. - Our legitimate interests, balanced against yours: preventing abuse and fraud, keeping the service working, understanding how it is used so we can improve it, and keeping internal customer records. - Legal obligations: keeping tax and accounting records. - Your consent, where the law requires it, for analytics; you can withdraw it at any time by switching analytics off. ## 7. Who else handles it We use these service providers. Each processes data only to provide its service to us. - Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.): hosts our servers, website, relay, database and file storage, and protects them from abuse; processes the IP address of every request and works out the approximate city and country we store. - Google (Google LLC): the Gemini API answers plan requests; Google Analytics 4 measures usage; Google Workspace holds our internal customer spreadsheet and team chat, where we receive account and billing notifications that include a customer's email address, plan and amounts. - OpenAI (OpenAI OpCo, LLC): answers plan requests. Under its API terms it does not use them to train its models; it may keep them for up to 30 days to detect abuse. - Groq (Groq, Inc.): answers plan requests. - OpenRouter (OpenRouter, Inc.): the model access behind the Studio plan. - Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited) and Stripe (Stripe, Inc.): sell plans and take payments, as merchant of record or payment processor, under their own privacy policies. - Resend (Resend, Inc.): sends our account email and delivers Support form messages to us. - Zoho (Zoho Corporation): hosts our support mailbox. - PostHog (PostHog Inc.): product analytics. - Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation): website analytics. - Hugging Face: serves the on-device speech models the extension downloads; the download itself reveals your IP address to it. An AI model reviews our servers' operating statistics to warn us of problems; it receives counts and pseudonymous account labels, never names or email addresses. The AI providers you choose yourself (with your own key) and the AI assistants you connect act under their own terms, not on our behalf. We may also disclose data where the law requires it, to protect our rights or users' safety, or to a buyer of our business, who would be bound by this policy. ## 8. International transfers Our providers process data in several countries, including the United States, the European Union and India. Where data protection law requires it, these transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards. ## 9. How long we keep it - Message content and audio: not kept after the request completes. - Plan account record and daily usage counts: while your account exists, and deleted when you ask us to delete it. - Payment and invoice records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, which can be several years after the purchase. - Sign-in codes and links: up to 7 days. Signed-in sessions: until 30 days after last use, or when you sign out. - IP addresses in abuse-prevention counters: up to 48 hours. - Support emails: until the matter is resolved and they are no longer needed; large screenshots: 30 days. - Google Analytics (extension): event data 2 months, user-level data 14 months. PostHog: for the retention period of our PostHog plan. - Everything stored in the extension itself: until you delete it or uninstall the extension. ## 10. Your choices and rights - Use the on-device features, or your own API key, and nothing reaches us. - Switch off analytics, or the settings updates, in the extension under Privacy. - Disconnect an AI assistant or a browser, and sign out sessions, in My account. - Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop or restrict a use of it, by writing to grievance@replywizard.app from the email address on your account. We answer within 30 days. Deleting your account ends your plan. - Object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time. - Complain to the data protection authority where you live. California residents. In the last 12 months we collected: identifiers (email address, random identifiers, IP address); customer records (name on card, postal code); commercial information (plans bought and amounts paid); internet activity (usage analytics); approximate geolocation (city and country); audio (voice notes you ask us to transcribe, not retained); and the content of messages you ask us to process (not retained, used only to provide the service). We used them for the purposes in section 6, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. You have the rights to know, delete, correct and not be discriminated against for exercising them; write to us as above. ## 11. Children Reply Wizard is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will delete it. ## 12. Security We use encrypted connections throughout, store plan keys, sign-in codes and access tokens only in scrambled form, keep your own API keys encrypted on your device, and limit access to our systems to the people who run them. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you and the authorities about a breach where the law requires it. ## 13. Changes to this policy We will update this page when what we collect or how we use it changes, and change the date at the top. A material change will also be announced in the extension or by email before it takes effect. ============================================================================== SOURCE: https://replywizard.app/terms-and-conditions PAGE: Terms of service (section headings only) ============================================================================== - Agreement to our legal terms - 1.
